1994 Mazda Miata

Here I have a my ’94 NA. My first car, have had it for almost 2 years now. I love it. As we all can say about our miatas, they’re fit, they’re fun, and they’re ‘fast’ :). I originally wanted to head down an ‘all MOMO’ themed car, as I’m heavily Italian and have always craved that late ’80s, vintage styling. My love for the the old Le Mans racers grew with me as I watched old tapes with my dad growing up of the 917ks and GT40s roaming around turns. So to keep the story short, I grew up riding the bus everyday to middle school, I passed a State Farm office on the bus route and saw this same car, rotting away for over a decade in the front yard of this office. At the time it was covered in State Farm logos for advertisement and my now current insurance agent’s contact info. Years later I was in the market, it was for sale, and I bought the car. I wanted to give it new life and here we are almost two years later, still loving every turn, twist, track day, autox, and car meet I go to. It puts a smile on other’s faces and most importantly, mine.
